How far is Bright Valley Holiday Park from Bright?

We’re just a 5-minute drive from Bright, nestled in peaceful Porepunkah along the Great Alpine Road. Close enough for convenience, far enough to relax.

Can I bring my dog?

We’re pet-friendly on designated powered sites only. Pets are not permitted in cabins or villas. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed during peak periods or long weekends.

Can I bring a second car or boat trailer?

Each site or cabin includes parking for one vehicle. Limited overflow parking is available near the park entrance for extra vehicles, trailers or boats. Please contact Reception before arrival to confirm availability.

Can we have a campfire at our site?

Yes! Campfires are permitted outside of fire restriction periods. Guests can enjoy their own fire using a fire pit.

  • Fire pits and wood are available to pre-order before 4pm daily from Reception.
  • Charges apply for both firewood and fire pit hire.
  • Fires must be supervised at all times and fully extinguished before bed or departure.

Please check local fire restrictions or ask Reception if you’re unsure.

What kind of BBQs are allowed?

Gas and electric BBQs are welcome on your site. We also have communal BBQ areas available throughout the park. Charcoal BBQs, spits, and open flames are not permitted.

Can we use e-scooters or electric bikes in the park?

For everyone’s safety, electric scooters, e-bikes, hoverboards and similar battery-powered devices are not permitted inside the park. Regular bikes and non-motorised scooters are welcome with supervision.

Is linen included in our booking?

All cabins and luxury villas include linen and towels for your stay. Ensuite sites come with a bath mat provided, but you’ll need to bring your own towels.

What facilities do you have for families?

Bright Valley Holiday Park is proudly family-friendly and packed with fun, including:

Is there a dump point on site?

Yes — we have a clean and convenient dump point available for guest use, located within the park.

Can I request a late check-out?

Late check-outs are subject to availability. Please check with Reception the day before your departure and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Is there WiFi in the park?

Yes — we offer free WiFi around Reception and communal areas. As we’re in a regional location, speeds may vary depending on weather and usage.

Where can I buy snacks or essentials nearby?

We no longer sell convenience items at Reception, but you’ll find everything you need just a few minutes away:

  • Punkah Pantry – a local gem for fresh produce, coffee, and gourmet goodies (4 minutes)
  • Ampol Convenience Store – ideal for drinks, snacks, fuel, and travel basics (4 minutes)
  • Woolworths and IGA – full-service supermarkets with everything from groceries to toiletries (just 10 minutes away)

Whether you need a top-up shop or a tasty treat, you’re never far from the essentials.

Are there quiet hours?

Yes — we kindly ask all guests to observe quiet time from 10:00pm to 7:00am to ensure everyone enjoys a restful night.

Will our cabin or villa be serviced during our stay?

For short stays, our cabins and villas are not serviced. For stays over 7 nights, we offer a complimentary mid-stay service including fresh linen and towels. Please let us know if you’d like to arrange this at check-in.

Can we make a group booking?

Absolutely. We welcome family groups, social clubs, retreats, reunions and special interest groups. Contact us directly and we’ll help you find the best combination of accommodation and sites for your group.

Is the park accessible for guests with mobility needs?

We’re working to ensure Bright Valley Holiday Park is as inclusive as possible. Some cabins and villas have ramp access and walk-in showers, and the main amenities block is also wheelchair accessible. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking — we’re happy to help find the right accommodation for you.
