Chasing Waterfalls
Eurobin Falls and Ladies Bath Falls are two picturesque alpine cascades located at the base of Mount Buffalo National Park. Just a short drive from Porepunkah and Bright, these falls offer a refreshing stop with cool mountain air, crystal-clear water, and easy walking tracks.
The Walk
From the Eurobin Falls car park, a well-formed trail leads first to Ladies Bath Falls — a small but inviting waterfall where cool water flows into a shallow rock pool. Local legend says the pool was once a bathing spot for ladies visiting the mountain in the early 1900s. Continue along the track for another 500 metres to reach Lower Eurobin Falls, where water tumbles dramatically over smooth granite rock faces.
Best Time to Visit
The falls flow year-round but are most impressive in spring and early summer when snowmelt increases water levels. On hot days, the shaded track and mist from the falls offer a welcome escape from the heat. Autumn brings colourful foliage, while winter often sees the surrounding granite dusted with frost.
